Find Beauty In The Fall Bringing Color To The Desert
Living in the desert typically means looking at a lot of ‘The Browns’… You know, no green lush grass, no brightly colored flowers lining your driveway. Just a bunch of brown dirt with some decorative rocks thrown in for good meaure. Well, this year, I’m going to change that up a bit! I’m going to Find beauty in the Fall!
This is my dream. To plant a container like this one and actually have all the plants growing and blooming at the same time. Right here. In the desert! This year, my Fall gardening plans are absolutly going to include a beautiful pop of color to get rid og ‘The Browns”…
For this project (yes, it’s a project and I will succeed!) I think I’m going with Miracle Gro Garden Soil. It’s made specificlly for potted plants, flowers and vegetables. And, if I’m going to do this blooming container, I’m doing it up right. go big or go home! It has rich organic plant material which is released when you water and works up to six months. Seems easy enough for even someone like me to use. I have the exact opposite of whatever a ‘green-thumb’ is called! I’ll have to take pictures along the way and keep you updated on how this getting rid of ‘The Browns’ project goes! Check back in and wish me luck! In the meantime, to help bring beauty in the fall where you live, check out the Miracle-Gro Facebook page and let me know what you decide to do!

I am such a gardening junkie. Love all the color. We have NO color during the winter time. It’s sad, so I can’t wait for spring to come around again.
That is so gorgeous! I am hopeless at plants but my neighbor rocks! She loves Miracle-Gro!
I gave up on my garden this year.
I got too sick with whooping cough to do anything with it. But I do love Miracle gro. I’ll be using my supply on next year’s garden.
I don’t know what the you call the opposite of a green thumb either – but I’ve got TWO. I love that first photo. Sure wish that I could get a pot like that on my front porch. Looking forward to seeing your follow ups!
I have a black thumb. Good luck!
Fall can be such a depressing time when everything is turning brown and its getting colder. I love the pop of color on the porch. What a cheerful way to welcome people and yourself home!
We love Miracle Grow! I had no idea you could do that with a green thumber!
