Nectresse: Pomegranate Iced Green Tea Recipe

Since our youngest son moved back to town, we’ve had to make some adjustments in what we keep handy around the house. Having a daughter in laws who is diabetic now means buying those sugar-free sweetener I am not crazy about the after taste of some of them, so it’s been kind of a trial an error type deal to find one we actually like. We came across Nectresse Sweetener and decided to give it a shot.

Before getting too elaborate in the recipe department, I decided to try the Nectresse in something fairly simple to see of it had that awful after taste.  I tried it out in this simple Pomegranate Iced Green Tea Recipe, and it was actually pretty good! We couldn’t really tell the difference at all. And, it has 0 calories! That’s always nice!

Try it, tell me what you think!

Ingredients:

Directions:

  • Steep tea bag in hot water for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients and stir until blended.
  • Pour tea over ice.
  • Enjoy!
