Wordless Wednesday – Dress Up As A Historical Figure

Wordless Wednesday – Dress Up As A Historical Figure
Day At School

So, in school today, Ethan has to dress up as a ‘Historical Figure’.
He could have picked anyone. Abe Lincoln, George Washington even a super cool favorite superhero if they wanted!

This is who he picked:

Wordless Wednesday Martin Luther King Jr

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr

Look at that smile! He’s SO proud to be a Civil Rights Leader (his own words!)
He only has two complaints. First, he’s not ‘dark’ enough. Second, he doesn’t have a tie.
We only used 10 lbs of make-up.

Shame on me for suggesting he be Jerry Garcia!

PS: Yes, my Wordless Wednesday has words
PPS: I’m SO proud he asked to be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, I don’t care that I broke the rules!

  1. Did he have to do a presentation, too? I love the mustache!

  2. He is adorable! Apparently I am having problems with today’s math problem. I had to use a calculator.

  3. That’s SO cool that he chose to dress up as MLK Jr.! Good for Ethan choosing to be a civil rights leader. I personally think real people who do great things to change the world are SO MUCH better than fake super heroes.

  4. Haha! How clever! I saw the ‘I have a dream’ and automatically though of Martin Luther King! Your son is adorable!

  5. How absolutely adorable!! I had to giggle on the Jerry Garcia, because thats where my 8 year old would have been like, Oh yeah!!! lol

  6. What an amazing boy you have there!! He’s going to be a true leader someday and I hope he dreams BIG, BIG, BIG!!

  7. That is so cute!

  8. look how proud he is 🙂
