Tribest PB-350XL Blender Review

In our quest for healthier eating, we stumbled across this awesome company Tribest. They have truly amazing products for ‘Green’ lifestyles, healthy meal preparing, they even have a ‘Grow Your Own Sprouts” kit!! You name it, they probably have it. After checking out all the cool gadgets, I knew I needed to have their Tribest Blender, PB-350XL.

Of course it makes smoothies! And you can bet I put Grandpa to work on cranking those out as soon as the box was open! Some soy milk, a banana, a handful of  frozen strawberries and a few ice cubes… done. And quite yummy too, I might add. But I needed to see what this had that other personal blenders didn’t.

So… what’s a Chicago girl to do when her favorite Mexican restaurant is 1500 miles away? Make some homemade salsa and guacamole of course! Here’s my recipe, feel free to adjust to taste!

Salsa Guacamole Recipe Tribest Blender Review

Salsa
Ingredients:

  • 1 Large Chopped Tomato (at least!!)
  • 1 Chopped Onion (I prefer white)
  • 1 Chopped Green Onion
  • 1/2 Cup Cilantro
  • 1 Garlic Clove (we use 2 smaller ones)
  • 1/4 Cup Jalapeno (totally optional or adjustable)
  • Sea Salt to Taste

We threw all of it right into the PBA-free container that attaches perfectly to the top and pushed down a few times until in was nice and chunky like it like it! Nothing ruins a great salsa than having it come out too runny… thin and mushy. It just has to be chunky! And since this sweet little gadget lets you push down to ‘pulse’ or twist to ‘blend’, it was really simple not to over do it and ruin my salsa! (Yes, I shared… a little)

Ok, on to the guacamole! You just can’t have the full Mexican nacho experience without that! Well, I can’t…

Ingredients:

  • 1 Large Avocado (we used 2 smaller ones to make a bit more but not too much)
  • 1 Large Tomato (start with a half and add to taste)
  • 1/4 Cup Onion (again, I prefer white)
  • 1 TSP Mexican Seasonings
  • A Splash of Lime Juice (to taste)
  • A Pinch of Sea Salt (to taste)

And again, for me…. I like it best with a little bit of chunkiness to it. Not pasty like baby food, ya know? And, yes… I shared. A little. It really tuned out great! Next, Pesto! I have plans for my new best kitchen gadget for sure!

Obviously, we loved it! And, at only $89.95 for the whole kit and kaboodle… mason jars, plastic storage containers, everything it’s a sweet deal! You can make your own home made soups, dressings, baby food, even! Fresh, raw ingredients and no preservatives made in seconds to feed the tiny tots and then seal it right up in the PBA free containers or mason jars; awesome. I’m thinking of getting one for my neighbor who’s about to have her first baby pretty soon.

Seriously, check out their website and tell me what you you think you’d like to have! Leave me a message in the comments section and let’s compare notes! What do you think of my Salsa Guacamole Recipe & Tribest Blender Review?

  1. Great review & there products look awesome one of these would come in handy in our kitchen 🙂

  2. Sounds so yummy and what a great blender!

  3. My blender is so old! It leaks when I make smoothies, doesn’t blend anything anymore. I love how this is PBA free, and has so many attachments with it! Perfect for like you said smoothies, but who would think to make salsa in it! That is a fantastic idea. Making me want salsa for breakfast now!! This is a super blender, and I am def checking out their products online. Never heard of them before and I am so glad you brought it to our attention!!

  4. What a cool little gadget. I would love to have one of these handy for when my son starts to eat solid…it would be great to make homemade baby foods. Thanks for the review.

  5. Very cool! I want one!!! 🙂

  6. I’m a gadget girl so, I’d love to have one of these. It looks simple to use and easy to clean.

  7. Dude…I am SOLD. My blender bit the dust and you never know how handy one is until it’s gone. I’m assuming this will fit all mason jars?!

  8. I love this review! I love blenders! Lol. I have one that I use for making our weekly juice in but it does not work all that well. It would be awesome to have something that is smaller and works really well. I live in a household of two so the HUGE blenders are just annoying and take up a big amount of space in my small kitchen.

  9. This would really help me out a lot!
