Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

Yes, it tastes as good as it looks. Yes, this Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Recipe is super simple to make. No, we had no left overs. My most favorite-est ever, ever, ever combo in the whole wide-est world is chocolate and peanut butter. Whether it’s ice cream, candy and now this wonderful, 100% all natural and gluten free peanut butter we so happily discovered, I’m all in! So, here’s  the story behind the peanut butter pie…

This peanut butter pie recipe came about as a review for PB Crave. And, I assumed it would start out like many others. Receive product, give it a go and let ya’ll know what we think. Totally not the case here. See, Ethan has allergies, and can’t eat regular peanut butter and now with my daughter Jessica and the other kiddos here for the summer (and OMG, my family is driving me crazy!) we’ve got the gluten free issue going full force. So, this unassuming package we received with all the delectable flavored peanut butter inside… HUGE hit! Had to make a peanut butter pie! Obviously.

PB Crave sent a jar of each of their four different flavors – Razzle Dazzle, Choco Choco, Cookie Nookie and Coco Bananas. Razzle Dazzle is peanut butter with wild honey, white and dark chocolate and natural raspberry flavor. (Ethan’s absolute favorite!) Cookie Nookie is peanut butter flavored with wild honey, chocolate chips and cookie dough flavor. YES! Cookie Dough! I KNOW!! Coco Bananas is exactly what it says. Real chocolate, and real chunks of bananas! OMGleeee… (this was my favorite. And yes, I ate it right out of the jar with a spoon. Don’t judge) The Choco Choco flavor is definitely for the ultimate of chocolate lovers. It’s a perfect combo of peanut butter, wild honey and sweet and dark chocolate. (grandpa is guarding this jar with his life)

We decided that with so many awesome flavors and choices, we couldn’t just slap it between two pieces of bread and call it good. No, we had to make something awesome. Ready? Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie! Yeah, that totally happened. It was so simple, so delicious and… well… just grab a pen or hit the print button or whatever it is that you do when you see recipes too good to pass up online and get going!

INGREDIENTS:

1 (or 2, maybe 4 if you quadruple the recipe?) Pre Made Chocolate Graham Cracker Pie Crusts
1 Cup Peanut Butter (for this, we used the CoCo Bananas, obviously!)
1 Package (8oz) Softened Cream Cheese
1 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 Tub (8oz) Cool Whip (nope, we didn’t go with ‘Lite’ or reduced fat, flavor anything. Go BIG or go home baby!)

Mmmmm. This looks soooo good! The only thing I would change is that I would use regular graham cracker crusts since I don’t like the chocolate ones. But that’s just my personal preference. Thanks for sharing.
