$10,000 Winner! Febreze Delivers – Home For The Holidays – To Dad

Who came home for the holidays at your house? We had no room at the Inn over here! Full, packed house for sure! And, as noisy and messy as it was, it was also awesome! I love my nice quiet, clean house now that most of the kiddos are flown & grown.  But, if  it wasn’t hustling & bustling and no one was able to come home for the holidays, I would have been a total Grinch.

Remember a few weeks ago when I told you I was a bit of a poopy pants because my oldest son Frank was stationed waaaay ‘over there’ in the Army and couldn’t come home for the holidays? Thankfully, we were able to Skype and that made it a bit better. But for one family, Febreze totally blew dad away!

Febreze held a contest to help a family who wasn’t able to all be home for the holidays. People from all over came and submitted their stories explaining why they all wouldn’t be able to be together this year. It must have been a super tough job selecting only one winner to receive the grand prize of $10,00. But, that lucky dad in the video above was announced on December 24! Seriously, isn’t that awesome! The kids look super happy making & sending Dad a bit of home to help him celebrate. It gave me the warm, fuzzies knowing someone got a small piece of ‘home for the holidays’ like that!

Now that you’ve seen the video, go head over to the the Febreze Facebook Page to give them a little ‘Congrats’ I know you said ‘Aawww…” Personally, I think they picked a great guy for the win! Such a hard working dad. You know it can’t replace being with the fam, but I’m betting it made him feel just a bit better!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Febreze Home For The Holidays. I received a promotional item to thank me for participating

  1. Such a sweet story, I’m so glad he won! He definitely deserved it!

  2. How neat! I am usually away from my family at Christmas, but I don’t think I would ever submit to win one of these things – I would much rather someone more deserving (such as a military spouse or child) get the win!

  3. I just LOVED watching this video. It almost made me cry. 🙂

  4. This is so neat. I can’t imagine how excited they all must be. What a great contest!

  5. That is so special! How neat that they were able to help a family in such a big way for Christmas.
