St. Patrick’s Day Green Daiquiri Punch Recipe – Cart Busting Style!

St. Patrick’s Day is just a few short days away my peeps!! I thought I had it all together. I really, really tried. The food, the fun, the awesome sauce friends and family. But, I forgot one thing. And, any other time, it wouldn’t have been such a *thing* really. I forgot the green alcohol! I want to make a Green Daiquiri Punch Recipe because HELLO St. Patrick’s Day… G.R.E.E.N. Wine somehow just doesn’t work, huh?

Thankfully, over at Kroger, they still have the Cart Buster Savings Event going on! Saving me, in more ways than one! Between March 3rd and March 16th, this sweet event lasts, so you should probably hit it sooner rather than later. Times a tickin’. I still need to grab a few more things for the paaaatah (and grab stuff for my green daiquiri punch recipe) But what I really need? Some Bounty! (because seriously, people drinking green alcohol can get kinda messy) and some Gatorade! Part of the Green Daiquiri Punch Recipe!  (and it’s included in the sale! LUCKY! – see what I did there?)  Want to know how to make your own?

Green Daiquiri Punch Recipe

(adapted from food.com)

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cans Frozen Limeade Concentrate (thawed)
  • 2 Cups Gatorade (lemon-lime flavor)
  • 1 Cup Rum (I use Malibu because it has that extra tropical ‘kick’ but you can use any light rum)
  • 2 Cans Lemon-Lime Pop (Squirt is better than Sprite in my opinion, just sayin’)

Directions:

Mix Limeade, Gatorade and Rum in large pitcher. Put in ‘fridge to chill for at least an hour. Right before serving, add pop and mix well. If you’re one of those with a fancy punch bowl thingy, pour in there or pour straight from pitcher over ice into glass! Add that little green cherry because it’s just so darn cute and enjoy this Green Daiquiri Punch Recipe RESPONSIBLY!

And don’t forget about the coolest part of Kroger’s Cart Buster sale! The surprise bonus coupon game! Today is the last day for this! You have to load them on to your store savings card, so do this…  Now, before you taste test the green daiquiri punch recipe. Go to http://clvr.li/WnCUVJ and you’ll find three random digital coupons. Add those on to your store card and BAM! More instant savings! Since it’s still all SURPRISE!! and distributed randomly, everyone will receive different savings. You’ll have to tell me what you got!  Some deals include Crest 3D White toothpaste, Tropicana orange juice, DiGiorno pizza, Secret deodorant, and Pantene. Last week, Ethan was hoping for the pizza and we totally scored that one! #SelectYourDeal !!!

What’s your plans for St. Patrick’s Day? Good food? Good friends? Maybe some green beer? I think you should try the green daiquiri punch recipe, but what do I know. I’m not Irish! (you can still totally kiss me!)
