NickMom – Mother Funny Night In – Moms Gone Wild

Because my family is always driving me crazy, NickMom took pity on me. Yep, they said ‘Hey, throw a party, it will be like Girls Gone Wild”

But totally not. At all.

It was more like ‘Bribe the dads to watch kids, stuff your face with snacks,  don’t wear make-up, drink lots of booze and watch some Mother Funny TV”

So, I totally did!

I pulled out some booze. Ok, I pulled out way more than this but when I looked at the photos of all the booze I pulled out, it made me look like a lush. So, I just re-took this one today. True Story. NickMom may be for Mother Funny mom’s but still…

I called some peeps. Mom’s I knew who needed a break. Some laughs, ya know? That’s my daughter and our friend Danielle. Both are mom’s who need a break. Danielle has a son with CP and her husband is deployed. And, her BFF is my daughter. Totally needs a break! We planned on watching Instant Mom with Tia Mowry-Hardrict. It’s on Nick Jr. every night at 10 (est) But guess what? I didn’t catch the right time. So, we caught an episode online waiting for it to come on! Cool, right? Watch online when the kids take-over the TV or watch after they are in bed!

I made some super easy but tasty snacks. Not at all healthy either. Oh! On the shows, Tia plays a food blogger! My husband was standing around trying to grab some snacks and heard her mom say ‘You’re a food blogger, who can’t cook‘… He laughed way to hard for me not to have taken that personally.

So, I didn’t share those snacks with him. Especially not those awesome Apple Pie Roll-Ups! Laugh at that. (recipes posted for said snacks this week, check back!)

We actually had a really great time. No kids, a couple cocktails and some Mother Funny TV. You should totally check it out when there’s nothing on those 293949583762 cable channels you have. A nice 1/2 hour break. some ‘Me Time‘ if you will.
